February Scottish Building Society POTM nominees
The nominees for February's Scottish Building Society Player of the Month have today been announced, with a quartet of players selected by the coaching staff as the standouts in through the month.
Prop Boan Venter and back-row trio of Luke Crosbie, Magnus Bradbury and Ben Muncaster all caught the eye in a month that saw Edinburgh claim an impressive bonus-point win away against Munster – propelling the capital club into the BKT URC top eight.
The winning player will be able to donate £500 – courtesy of Scottish Building Society – to a charity of their choice from our main club partner’s foundation.

Boan Venter
December’s Scottish Building Society Player of the Month has continued his form into 2025, notably dominating the Munster pack at Virgin Media Park, winning an immense seven scrum penalties to help the capital on its way to victory.
Magnus Bradbury
The big number eight returned to the capital pack against Munster with a bang, showing his ball carrying prowess in its fullness, swatting aside defenders to put Edinburgh on the front foot.
Bradbury bagged a crucial score to earn a bonus-point before half-time in Cork, capping a stellar display from the back-row.
Luke Crosbie
Currie Chieftain Crosbie was a bright-spark for the capital against Zebre at Hive Stadium, carrying with ferocity to try and earn a result for the home side. The back-row carried 18 times for 75 metres, before powering over for a close-range try late on.
Ben Muncaster
Muncaster enjoyed an all-action display against Munster, impressing on both sides of the ball in his injury comeback. A try assist for Ross Thompson’s score caught the eye, with his 20 tackles at a 100% success rate keeping the Munster men at bay.
