When the team hits the road this season, supporters will be able to bring the Hive Stadium roar into the heart of the city.
The Black Bull’s city centre location, eight high-definition sports screens and capacity for up to 260 guests have made it the natural choice as Edinburgh Rugby’s home away from home until the end of the season.
Season ticket holders will enjoy 20% off their bill any time, with 20% off for all Edinburgh Rugby ticket holders on match days.
Supporters can also look forward to player appearances and special Q&A sessions throughout the season, plus a new Edinburgh Rugby-themed menu created to mark the partnership — including Schoe’s Spice Bag, The Tartan Trophy Pie and The Full Back Burger.
Edinburgh Rugby wing Wes Goosen is the face of the renewed partnership for 2026/27. He said:
“Edinburgh Rugby has enjoyed a fantastic long-standing relationship with Signature Group across several of its city centre venues.
“The Black Bull has become a second home for us over the past year, so we couldn’t be happier to continue making it our official away hub for our supporters into autumn 2026 and spring 2027.
“The Black Bull is undoubtedly one of the best sports bars in the city. It’s the perfect place to recreate that unique Hive Stadium atmosphere when the team is playing on the road.”
Alaan Lavety, deputy general manager at The Black Bull, part of Edinburgh-based hospitality group Signature, added:
“We’re really excited to be teaming up with Edinburgh Rugby as their official away hub once again. We’re aiming to recreate the buzz of Hive Stadium in the Grassmarket, where we’ll be celebrating all things Edinburgh Rugby.
“If The Black Bull knows one thing, it’s sport. We have eight high-definition sports TV screens across the venue and show all the biggest games for rugby fans to enjoy. You focus on the game, and we’ll keep you fuelled with some tasty grub and a pint of our own locally brewed beer.”
For the first two home fixtures of the new season – vs DHL Stormers on 2 October and vs RC Toulon on 16 October – The Black Bull will host Edinburgh Rugby pre-match parties, complete with a private 30-seater coach running fans from the Grassmarket straight to Hive Stadium.
Tickets are priced at £15 per person and include a pint, a meal from The Black Bull buffet, and transport to and from Hive Stadium.
