It's a big Friday night in the capital as the DHL Stormers come to town in the URC, and there's loads on the go from the moment the gates open. Here's everything you need to know before you head along.

Timings

Gates open at 6pm ahead of a 7.45pm kick-off in the capital. Get down early to make the most of everything on offer.

Public Bar – now in the President’s Suite

The public bar has moved to the President’s Suite, and there’s an absolute load on the go in there this Friday!

Hive Stadium Fan Zone

There’ll be plenty on the go in the fan zone, with some brilliant food and drink options:

Stuffed cookies
Greek food
Barbecue
Coffee and donuts
Burgers and fries
Duck wraps
Wood-fired pizza
Peri-peri chicken

There’ll also be an array of fun and games with sponsor activations, including rugby challenges at the Scottish Building Society community stand. The Edinburgh Event Company will have a number of their games set up too, including mini golf.

Look out for the Penicuik and District Pipe Band too. They’ll be in the fan zone welcoming fans as they arrive, before piping the team onto the pitch.

The Dropkick Murphys Unsigned Stage

Jasmin Jet headlines the Dropkick Murphys Unsigned Stage as it returns to the Fan Zone. Get down early and catch her set before kick-off as she performs from 6.30pm to 7.15pm

Ball Delivery

Two of Team Scotland’s Commonwealth Games stars will get Friday night underway, as medal-winning para athletes Faye Rogers (swimming) and Ben Sandilands (athletics) deliver the match ball ahead of kick-off. Make sure you give them a huge Edinburgh welcome!

Community Team of the Week

North Berwick RFC are our Community Team of the Week, and they’ve got the best seats in the house. You’ll see them lining up for the Guard of Honour to welcome the boys onto the pitch, before they take centre stage themselves at the break in the Scottish Building Society half-time minis!
