Scotland U18 lock McVie arrived at the club having featured for Heriot’s Rugby in the FOSROC Super Series Sprint, after playing the majority of his rugby with Edinburgh Accies.
A product of Boroughmuir RFC and the Boroughmuir Bears, Jerry joined the academy alongside younger brother Ollie (tighthead). A dynamic hooker, Blyth-Lafferty has featured for Scotland U20, and starred for Edinburgh ‘A’ in the 22/23 FOSROC Super Series Sprint.
Devilishly fast, the former sprinter starred for Edinburgh U18 in the junior 1872 Cup against rivals Glasgow. The winger is aligned to FOSROC Super6 side Southern Knights.
