Marking the 15th year of the partnership with the Italian sportswear company, the new kits feature club colours navy blue, reflex blue, burnt orange and white in a pair of refined and modern designs.

Home Kit

The new home shirt is a dynamic design on a navy blue base, with blurred and irregular ‘brushstroke’ lines in reflex blue, white and burnt orange.

The diagonal movement of the lines gives the kit a sense of energy and motion. The navy blue polo collar includes reflex blue accents and a custom inner neck tape with the repeated phrase: ALWAYS EDINBURGH.

The front of the jersey features the Macron hero on the right and the Edinburgh Rugby crest on the left. On the back of the collar, the lettering EST 1872 celebrates the club’s founding year.

The inside of the collar also has a special label with the Macron logo and the words “Designed in Bologna,” a nod to Macron’s headquarters. The home kit is completed with navy blue shorts and socks.

Alternate Kit

The alternate kit is predominantly white, with a navy-blue polo collar and burnt orange details. The same colours are used in a geometric graphic on the sleeves and sides, which is a simplified and abstract tribute to traditional Scottish tartan.

The front of the jersey displays the Macron Hero in navy blue on the right and the Edinburgh Rugby crest on the left. The back of the collar features EST 1872 in navy blue.

The shorts are white with the same tartan graphic from the shirt, and the white socks have a navy blue top border and a central horizontal band with a navy blue and burnt orange checked pattern.

Technical details and sustainability

Both jerseys are designed for a body fit and are made from ‘eco fabric’, which is 100% polyester sourced from recycled plastic. The primary fabric, Eco Armevo, along with inserts of Eco Boditex and Eco Strong Mesh, ensures a high level of performance, durability and breathability.

Supporters can purchase the new home and alternate kits, alongside a range of Edinburgh Rugby apparel, both online and in-store at the Scottish Rugby Store.
