Scottish Building Society pre-season friendly to be shown live on Premier Sports

The Scottish Building Society pre-season friendly kicks off the new season at Hive Stadium, with Edinburgh handed the perfect opportunity to give supporters up and down the country a first look at the squad in action.

Fans unable to make it to Hive Stadium can watch every minute of the action live via Premier Sports on Sky or Virgin Media, on their smart TV, or through the Premier Sports app on mobile and tablet devices.

It promises to be a massive night of action, with new arrivals set to pull on the Edinburgh jersey for the first time, while a number of the club’s brightest young talents will be eager to grab their chance under the Friday night lights at Hive Stadium.

Edinburgh Rugby Managing Director Douglas Struth said: “We’re delighted to be bringing our first pre-season match to fans far and wide. We know not everyone can make it down to Hive Stadium, so it’s great that this game will be shown live on Premier Sports, allowing supporters across the country – and beyond – to tune in and see the squad in action for the first time this season.

“Of course, there’s no substitute for being there in person, and we’d love to see as many fans as possible make their way to Hive Stadium on Friday night to roar the team on.

Tickets for Friday night’s game are on sale now, with supporters encouraged to get down early to see the squad’s first run out of the season.
