Public Bar closed for Friday’s Ulster friendly
3 Sep 2026The Public Bar – located in the Thistle Suite – will be closed for this Friday's Scottish Building Society pre-season friendly against Ulster.
The Hive Stadium Fan Zone will, however, be open as usual – with plenty of food and drink options for fans of all ages – as gates open at 6pm ahead of a 7.45pm kick-off.
The Hive Stadium big screens will also not be in operation for the fixture.
Fans are encouraged to book their tickets early as Edinburgh Rugby kick off the new season under the Friday night lights. Supporters can also catch all the action live on Premier Sports 2.
The Public Bar will be back in operation for the club’s BKT United Rugby Championship home opener against DHL Stormers on Friday 2 October.
