Edinburgh ‘A’ to face Ealing Trailfinders next month
15 Aug 2026Edinburgh 'A' will take on Ealing Trailfinders at Trailfinders Sports Club on Saturday 12 September, kick-off 3pm, in the first fixture of the club's formal 2026/27 'A' team programme.
The fixture provides further playing opportunity for the club’s academy players, and wider squad, as Edinburgh continue to build towards the 2026/27 campaign.
It comes during a busy pre-season period for Edinburgh, who face Ulster at Hive Stadium in a Scottish Building Society pre-season friendly on Friday 4 September (kick-off 7.45pm), before this ‘A’ team trip to face Ealing Trailfinders, and then a further pre-season test against Harlequins at The Stoop on Friday 18 September (kick-off 7.45pm).
Edinburgh’s last meeting with Ealing Trailfinders came in last season’s pre-season double header at Hive Stadium, where the capital side also faced Doncaster Knights, claiming a 27-14 win over the English Championship outfit.
The fixture is the first of an extended ‘A’ team programme for 2026/27, with further games to be confirmed by the club at a later date.
