Liam Scott McConnell is a blindside flanker for Boroughmuir Bears, joining the club's pro academy ahead of the 2023/24 season.
McConnell played for Stewarts Melville Lions throughout primary school, before moving to Boroughmuir at the start of high school, where he has now progressed to playing for their FOSROC Super6 side.
He played for Scotland U16 and U18, and is now co-captain at U20.
