Connor Boyle

Openside Flanker

Scotland U20 captain Boyle broke into the Edinburgh team in 2019 where he featured in the club's pre-season opener against London Scottish

The back-row then made his Edinburgh Rugby debut from the bench in the home match-up with Connacht in October 2020.

Named as Scotland U20 captain for the 2019 Six Nations campaign, back-row Connor Boyle has impressed at every age-grade represented – including under-16, under-18 and under-20 levels.

A former pupil at Stewart’s Melville, Boyle currently plays at Watsonians whilst studying international management part-time at Edinburgh’s Heriot-Watt Univeristy.

Boyle started all five 2019 U20 Six Nations fixtures, scoring two tries in the process.

The back-row was once again named as captain for the 2019 World Rugby U20 Championship in Argentina and started four matches as the age-grade side recorded a disappointing 12th place finish.

Boyle enjoyed a breakout campaign in the 2021/22 season, regularly featuring in the team, and scoring a memorable try in the club’s EPCR Challenge Cup Round of 16 victory against Bath Rugby.

An expert at the breakdown, the flanker won Scottish Business Society Player of the Month for November 2023.
